For over 25 years, Blair Construction, Inc. has built quality custom homes and light commercial buildings in Butler County, Sedgwick County, and the surrounding Wichita Kansas area.
Bill started out as a framer when he was in college, and this inspired him to take engineering and drafting classes. He is hands-on with every facet of the building process and believes that communication is the key with not only homeowners but between the builder, his staff and his subcontractors. Bill brings creativity to every project. He doesn’t want to build the same “cookie cutter” house again and again. He also brings flexibility and craftsmanship by adding special touches such as converting an old antique dresser to a bathroom vanity, using recycled wood from an old church for floors, etc. Blair Construction, Inc. offers in-house warranty.
Bill's son, Gage, has also become part of the company over the last few years. He shares the passion his father does in Custom Home Construction.

TIMBER FRAME HOMES
Timber framing, sometimes called post and beam, is a traditional method of building wooden structures. Traditional timber frames are distinguished by their all-wooden joinery, known as motise and tenon, as well as for the exposed beams that are not only incredibly durable, but also create beautiful indoor spaces.
Timber frame construction consists of posts that span unbroken from sill to eave or ridge and are erected in walls and bents. (Bents run perpendicular to the ridge of the roof, while walls run parallel to the ridge). Historically, traditional joinery was made entirely of wood.
